  Introduction (5 minutes): Hook the audience with a relatable story about fear and missed opportunities in the workplace.  Must be a sacrifice to get reward at end of story What is the internal sacrifice that (Steve, Cindy, Bob) gave up in the lake story? Never fully close a story. What happened to Cindy, Bob, Steve over the course of time? What feeling do I want my listener to have at the end of the story? How would I describe the lake (personification) What did Cindy's voice sound like? Comforting, confident, etc. How else would I describe her character without overdoing it? All stories are about heroes (Steve and Cindy) All heroes have flaws and they are heroes because of their flaws Hero's have to have passions - a wound they are trying to overcome. Hero's are full of fears. Fears of past trauma. Governing fear in the story. They must confront their fear. Undercut yourself in the story. Show your flaws. Hero's have magnets.
